Inflatable Landscape was a project challenging groups to create an inflatable product that users can interact with at the Milan Design Week (postponed to October 2023 due to heavy rain) at the ¿DOPO? Space while watching short films.
Design Process
How would we be comfortable with an inflatable? We asked ourselves, as a team, this question in our ideation process. We came up with the design for a large inflatable in which a user can adjust their position to their liking and not be restricted by it.
Material Testing
In our case, we decided to use thick plastics to create our inflatable. In order to fuse our material and allow them to inflate, we need to melt them together. To do so, we used a combination of an clothe iron and hair straightener.
Community with drawing
